Request Timeout during an outgoing call


Did you already get a Request Timeout message?

I get this message each time I make an outgoing call, after 30s. Before this time, everything is ok.

Incoming calls are ok and work fine.

May be you know some possible reasons?

The most common reason is a NAT misconfiguration: using NAT, but not supplying the public address of your Asterisk.

It can also happen when a broken peer fails to even reject a Re-INVITE

Values were ok in my configuration, especially the public IP address, but I didn’t reboot the server. Now it works fine !
