Receiving SMS through asterisks

hello all;

i would like to know if there is away to receive SMS through asterisks , i need just incoming SMS to my DID numbers i am using Voxbone DID numbers, they have Voxsms features that support incoming sms .

Hi What do you want the sms to be delivered to ? voicemail, email, ot to display on a handset ?

Whats the handset and does it support messages being sent to it ?

yes its the normal phone that used for GSM calls

Asterisk 10 should support Voxbone’s VoxSMS messages over SIP.
