as noted from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+sip+qualify, Asterisk would polls peers regularly to ‘qualify’ them based on latency of the replies. Is there any configuration to adjust how often the 'SIP OPTIONS" messages are sent? If not, what algorithm does Asterisk use to determine when to send such messages? It does not seem to be a fixed interval from the NOTICEs I received on the console.
Also, can ‘unqualified’ peers be barred from making calls?
