Problems configuring zaptel

Hi
I am having the same issue…when i do modprob wctdm i get this output:

Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)
Channel 04: FXO Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 04)

can you help me? wht do i get "2 channels to configure. "? seems the channels are not configured. please help.

I dont want to state the obvious, but have you restarted asterisk yet?

at the cli do “restart now”

I had a problem just like this and couldn’t figure it out, I kept doing “reload” until someone told me to restart now.
Btw what asterisk distro are you running i tried “modprob wctdm” and couldnt get it to work on a couple of my boxes…

Hi there, and thanks for responding. I have done everything you listed, it still gives me this “2 channels to configure”. I really do not know what is up. Can anyone help? I am running asterisk 1.4.17 and zaptel 1.4.7.1. I have restarted a million times, even rebooting my machine, bu nothing still works. I can see the lights on the cards, but it doe snot give me a ring tone. i’d appreciate ur help.
