Problem with gcc 5.2 and Asterisk compile

It seems that with the latest update of gcc Asterisk (old version 1.4) fails to compile. It seems to be in the aelparse or aelmain source where there is a problem.

It is not clear if this is a gcc problem or Asterisk source problem. Has anyone seen this? Is there a fix? I suppose going back to gcc 4.9 would fix the problem but hopefully there is a better solution.

Since no answers on this I uninstalled 5.2 gcc reinstalled the latest 4.9.x gcc and it works fine. Ultimately not the right answer but it works.
