In the Dial app, I see there is an option to play an announcement to the called party (with A(x)). Is there a similar feature for the calling party? Or to play an announcement for both parties to hear?
I attempted to use the G() feature, but by transferring both parties out of the call, the call is no longer connected.

What are you trying to accomplish ?
I’m attempting to place a call to an extension such that upon answering the call, a sound file is played simultaneously to the calling and called parties. Trying to see if there’s a way to do this with an existing Asterisk app.
That I understand but for what purpose ? I dont know of a direct way but if you explain your needs then maybe I can think of a work around.
