PJSIP Outbound Registration

I was analyzing the outbound registration using pjsip and I have question, on the registration section is needed to define the following option in order to work endpoint=XXXX, I was searching what it is the feature of this option on the registration section, but the endpoint option is not listed on the registration section as configurable option

Also is not defined on the Wiki

summarizing this endpoint is used in conjunction with the line information , so any incoming calls will be automatically identified as the provided endpoint, Make sense thanks

Provided the upstream server plays along and returns the line token. So far this was always the case with the service providers using multiple IP addresses I met.
