Hello,

i have a Digiul TE220 card plug in a Linux Unbuntu server with Asterisk 1.4.12.1, libpri 1.4.3 and zaptel driver 1.4.7.1.

When i start the zaptel script there is no issue:

The zztool software show me the 2 ports Alarm: Unconfigured

Here is my configuration:

dmesg | grep Wildcard

Thanks for your help

Hi

Do you have alias wct2xxp wct4xxp in you modprobe.conf ?

this may be the issue

Ian

I have added the following line to the modprobe.conf:

# cat /etc/modprobe.conf ... alias wct2xxp wct4xxp

I have restarted the server but unfortunately, same issue…

# /etc/init.d/zaptel start Loading zaptel framework: [ OK ] Waiting for zap to come online...OK Loading zaptel hardware modules: wct2xxp. Running ztcfg: ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Invalid argument (22) [FAILED]

The module is loaded:

# lsmod wct4xxp 298880 0 zaptel 188676 3 wct4xxp crc_ccitt 6337 1 zaptel

I am lost…

Any idea ?

Where can i find a clear procedure to install this Digium card TE220 on Linux ?

Nicolas

Imcompatibility of the TE220 card with AMD CPU…
Any patch available ???

Is your card set to T1 when it should be set to E1? You should change the jumpers accordingly - see the linked PFDs from the TE200 series user manual below.

The card with labels:
pdfmenot.com/view/http://pdfmeno … 30661d.pdf

Page about T1/E1 selection:

pdfmenot.com/view/http://pdfmeno … 392547.pdf

I was having the exact same problem as you except I have Trixbox installed. Changing the jumpers from T1 to E1 did the trick!

I hope this helps. Good luck!

When i close the pins of the E1/T1 jumper, the card is no longer recognise by the system (dmesg or lspci).

Just another question, when i look on the documentation, there is 4 jumpers. On my card, only 2 jumpers:

Is it normal ???

Hi

One thing I did forget to mention. As this is a DIgium card have you raised a ticket with Digium and had them look at the issue?

Ian
