Passing CID on forward to mobile

We have an Asterisk installation and it is running fine so far.
I am looking to pass on a CID number from an incoming call that is forwarded directly to a cellphone.
How can I pass this incoming CID onto the outgoing trunk ?

At this time I get “private number” on my cell phone, or when I put the number of the forwarding extension in my cellphones address book I get the number from the forwarding extension.

I would like to see who is calling to the extension.

If it is possible to do it at all, the most straightforward Asterisk configuration will pass CID through. You have not provided nearly enough information to allow the problem to be diagnosed.

Note that most responsible network operators will not accept CID that they don’t know for certain belongs to the subscriber.
