Caller ID help please

I am forwarding calls from my asterisk box to my cell phone.

I have the option of using my TelaSIP account or my PSTN (I have an SPA3000). I would like to have some way of knowing whether the incoming call is being forwarded. Is there any way to do this? Whenever I try to set the CID to something other than the actual number it still just shows the actual number…

At the office, on my PRIs, I can set the CallerID to whatever I want to. But if I use my second home line for asterisk to foward a call, then I cannot over-write the CallerID from what the Telco set it…

So it depends on the kind of lines you’re using. You might just not be able to change it…
