Outbound Delay Issue


We use a Asterix based IVR system. I am in need of help with specifically troubleshooting the outbound calls being made.

Basically we are using a survey IVR where in the customer gives us a missed call, the number is picked from the database and a outbound call is made to the same customer after which a voice file is played.

Off late we have been observing a severe delay(specific intervals) in the outbound call generation, the concurrent missed calls are not high for them be queued up.

I would really appreciate if somebody can help with the steps i need to follow to fix this problem, basically a root cause analysis.
