I turnt to ask for your help to solve the following problem:
My company just implemented a call center based on asterisk. It runs on a HP Proliant server, with 320 GB hard drive and 1 GB Memory. The communications use an E1 channel. The problem with this implementation is that there is noise in the channel and the calls are dropped unexpectedly at any time while conversations are taking place. It seems that all the configurations parameters are all ok, but the problem persists, and even the E1 povider has stablished that this is not the problem.
Does any codec causes the faults, or anything else inside asterisk. Please. help me to solve it. I will thank you a lot!
