Various Problems with Asterisk

Hello Guys.

Recently there has been problems with our Asterisk calling system, we can not seem to find a solution.

Basically, the main problem with Asterisk is that it randomly drops the calls… Some days it works fine, others a caller can be on the phone for anything from 30 Seconds to 5 minutes…The Call gets dropped.

Further more, there is another problem that people cannot pickup a direct line call to somebody elses phone.

Could anyone provide a little bit of support? Ideas/solutions to help resolve this.

What channel technologies and sub-technologies are being used? What debugging output, verbose CLI, channel driver and device driver protocol traces, do you get around the time the call drops?
