I updated my server, installing FreeBSD-7.2-PRERELEASE and then installed the new Asterisk-1.4.23.1 along with Zaptel-1.4.11 ports. All seemed well until I went to test the X101P card I’ve been using. zttool show nothing and ztcfg says
ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel 1: Device not configured (6)
This same system ran Asterisk-1.4.21 and Zaptel just fine for many months. I can put the old hard drive back in and the old system will work fine. Is there something I’m missing here. Did Zaptel get pushed aside in favor of Dahdi, which I know nothing about yet?
