New install; inbound ok outbound wants a password?

Hi,

I’ve missed something I know but just cannot find it. When I dial out I get “please enter your password followed by the pound key”. If I look at the outbound route it does have some text that says “Extension routes is not registered” but not sure what that is either.

Are you using FreePBX? If so, their forum is at https://community.freepbx.org/ and it would be from its logic or something associated with it.

Asterisk Version: 16.24.0 it says

FreePBX uses Asterisk underneath. FreePBX is the GUI on top of it, along with features built on Asterisk and if in use is what configures Asterisk.
