hello
i am trying to install asterisk on debian using the book recommended by the presentation on this site
i got to trying to build the zaptel package, but after running the command “make menuselect” i got an error which stated "Install ncurses to use the menu interface!"
so apparently there’s a missing package, but i don’t know where to get it from
should i state also that i am a beginner on linux based systems.

Debian. It is pretty fundamental to a lot of Linux console mode, full screen, software.
