Could anyone give me some idea of how many callers can participate in a conference with all calls coming in on zaptel and asterisk running on a twin proc 2.8GHz Xeon ?

Well its pretty tough to organise a comprehensive test on this, but I’m certainly going to give it a try… watch this space
just a hint, you might be able to organize something better if you scheduled something… like said… ok… everyone at this date and time dial in , heres the code… bla bla … and maybe offer IAX2 connectivity
