Make call with SIP java based client?

Hello,

I’ve searched for a solution in the archives with any success.

I would like to make a client (java-based) to call user. I know that Asterisk-java exists. But we need the manager to make a call and I would like to avoid it.

Any suggestion ?

Do you need to initiate a call from Asterisk itself or from remote.
There is always the option to use a SIP java client for this.
