Long distance digitmap

I can’t seem to dial long distance. I setup a generic dialplan that makes the users dial 9 for an outside line and then accepts any other combination of digits. The problem is the Polycom phones automatically dial the number after inputing 10 digits. I found it has something to do with the digitmap on the phone. Does anybody know how to change to digit map to accept the 9 and then any other combination of digits. Thanks.

Mike

I figured it out.

You need to edit the digitmap option in the sip.cfg file. You can create something like “9x.T|2xx”.

This makes all outgoing calls work as long as you dial a 9 first.

It also allows you to dial the other exts (ie. 201 in this case)

Thanks.
