Initiate a HOLD from the phone

I know there is no specific ‘Hold’ function in the digium.phone API

Is there any way to find the hold button and send a command to act as if it has been pressed ?

Are you likely to add ‘Hold’ to the phone API - you can hold the call from the AMI and but that doesnt really do the same thing - the phone doesnt know the call is on hold
