I have a strange situation. I have some traffic comming from a provider that terminates PSTN, he has Asterisk and I have Asterisk (1.0.9).
I have a username and password at him, I have made a registration (see below), I was registered and all was well. Today I had lost connection, looking in the sniffer, I saw that my Asterisk was trying to talk with his, but there were no answeres back. So all registration attempts were timed out. But from my network I could easyli register with a IAX/firefly on the same Asterisk, with the same user, and using the sniffer all voip traffic was ok.
Rebooting my Asterisk (I rebooted the Linux) solved the proble (why???) but this was a very ugly solution since I have about 60 operators that I had to inform to hang up.
