I am trying to configure asterisk to my complany. I would like to know the below information before going for the configuration

I would like to make ISD calls from asterisk and I am trying to configure the software on Linux OS

What are the thing needed for running the asterisk server.

Please let me know the compatible OS and ISDN card for the same

Hi Keyan,

From the small amout of information provided;

  1. OS - I use CentOS 4.5 100% happy others will swear by Debian, Fedora and the rest; you can make Asterisk work well on most Linux distros.

  2. Cards - Take a look here;

Thanks for info , using that card can we make call to internal mobiles & land line ?

For making the calls any voice provider need ?
