Howto for PSTN-POTS only

Does anyone know of a howto on setting up asterisk as a PBX/Receiptionist for PSTN (incoming) and POTS (house wired phones) only setup? I know someone who does not have broadband internet (only dial-up) and whishes to setup asterisk as a PBX for his house. He does have a TDM400 card with 2 FXO’s and 2 FXS’s, so there’s a possibility for 2 trunks and 2 exts.

this is certainly doable. have him create two ZAP trunks, one for each POTS line. the rest of it requires some experimentation (e.g. there isn’t a HOWTO i’m aware of for this specific case…)
