hello,how can i play background sounds from a different server. i want to configure a separate server only for asterisk playback sounds and backgrounds. configuration server will be separate from this.

There’s no simple option to do such a thing. If you want a remote box to playback media, you’ll have to direct calls to that remote box for media playback.
