We are using paging announcement via asterisk during emergency.
But page announcement will not happen at end point who are in offline.
The reason for offline is either end point application may be running in back ground or in sleep.
But we need to play announcement at the end point even the user is offline. For that we are searching for the possibility to get url or path of the live audio streaming of that page and using the same we can play the announcement at end point.
We came across several wikis and found JACK application may suitable for this requirement
Could you please confirm the same and please provide information like how to implement JACK to get audio stream data in the form of path or url.
