How can make a call from Asterisk CLI with chan_alsa.so

Hello,
i just want to know, how can i dial from Asterisk CLI?
the channel treiber chan_alsa.so has been correctly installed, and just the question of the configure of alsa.conf. What means the parameter “inputdevice” and “outputdevice”?
After the configuration, how can i make the call from CLI? Is there any Asterisk application or others?

Let’s say we want to call the extension 902, context offices :

originate console/dsp extension 902@offices

Cheers.

Thank you for your answer.
Is that mean, i need only give this commando “originate console/dsp extension 902@offices” after the Asterisk “*CLI>” prompt?

Yes, just check to call an existing extension in an existing context.

Cheers.
