How can I tell which asterisk version Im running?

Hello everyone,

I have 2 asterisk mechines, name of the versions are:
Asterisk CVS-v1-0-03/13/06-15:02:15
and:
Asterisk CVS-HEAD-01/02/05-23:16:39

What does it mean in terms of versions (1.2, 1.09???)

given that the CHANGELOGs on the mirrors don’t include release dates, and the old files are all dated the mirror sync date, it’s not easy to specify exactly … but i would say 1.2.x for the first and 1.0.7 (??) for the second.

these are purely a guess though !
