Help Using menuselect In Asterisk Addons

Greetings,

I am trying to use menuselect to intsall the MySQL addons but I keep getting this message:

[root@ldc309 asterisk-addons-1.4.2]# ./menuselect/menuselect

*** Install ncurses to use the menu interface! ***

I used yum to install ncurses in my asterisk-addons directory but I’m still having the same problem.

Is there another directory that I should be installing the ncurses packages into? Any help would be appreciated.

just install it normally - e.g. wherever it would normally go.

Thanks, so would that be in the /usr/src directory or the user/src/asterisk-1.2.11 directory ?
