Hi folks. Please forgive my naivity on what’s probably a simple question, but I can’t seem to figure it out.
Outgoing (T1) calls have an annoying static and rapid beeping sound on the receiving end. Ever see those old war movies where there’s a bunch of morse code beeps going on in the background? That’s exactly what this sounds like. Faint beeps, a bunch of static and a slightly-muffled voice on the receiving end. On my end, the quality is just fine.
I am making calls from a SIP softphone (X-Lite), out our T1 line to a POTS phone number.
Any ideas on how I can eliminate the background noise?
