I have installed Asterisk on a CentOS 5 server with the intend of doing VOIP phone to VOIP phone calls. As a new user I have installed the GUI from Digium to hopefully simplify the configuration learning curve. I was able to create a default dial plan but I have problems adding my first user. When I fill out the “Create New User” form on the “Manage User Extensions” page it looks ok, but when I click on the ‘Update’ button nothing happens.
I have turned off the the ad blocking extension for this site so I’m not sure what else to try? Any suggestions where I should start in fixing it? Any additional information I should supply with this post?
