Google Voice

I am running the FreePBX Asterisk Distro 5.2.11.65-1 with FreePBX 2.11 and Asterisk 11.6.0

I am trying to setup Google Voice.

I have setup a GVoice account, turned off Chat and registered a phone number.

I have installed GVoice Motif on FreePBX and configured it and it shows Connected.

I have configured Inbound and Outbound routes and setup a dialing pattern:

+1NXXNXXXXXX
1NXXNXXXXXX
NXXNXXXXXX

I have also setup my sip.conf and added public and private IP information. Extension to Extension dialing works.

I am not able to make outbound calls.

[2013-12-22 13:24:58] WARNING[14040][C-00000006]: channel.c:4816 ast_prod: Prodding channel ‘SIP/201-00000007’ failed

Google voice is dead since it has an EOL in march. And nobody knows if they already ceased the xmpp support so trying to fixing a dead product don’t worth the time.

Thanks - that saves me a lot of time.

What trunk options would you recommend to replace it that are cheap or free?

Thanks again

Check VoIP.ms or flowroute there are many maybe google can help be more based in your location.

Did you reboot your PBX?
