G.729 Digium Codec

Ok, I have my cisco 7960 set to ulaw, I have my sipura 2100 set to ulaw. I only have one licsense. And I only have 1 voip provider that i’m using(telasip).

When I dial out from the cisco7960 I get this in my log:

Now, while i’m on the phone(7960) I get another call it rings like it should…then it should drop into my IRV, but it doesn’t it just cuts the audio but i’m still connected, and I get this in my log:

My sip.conf
disallow=all

allow=ilbc
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw

So you have a call up on the sipura, and it is talking ulaw to asterisk, and it is talking to telecordia, which is talking to asterisk over ulaw so thats where your license is going. If you want to check run a sip show channels while you are on the phone with your sipura and getting these messages. I hope this helps.
