Fax, SPA-3102 and PRI

I’m looking at moving an Avaya + PRI system over to an Asterisk based setup.

Currently our faxes connect to the Avaya, and the Avaya is connected to an E1 PRI line.

From reading, I think this setup is what I should be looking at.
Fax > Linksys SPA 3104 > Asterisk > PRI

Am I mistaken on the usage of the 3104? From what I read it will give the fax a “SIP” account like any other phone, yet supports T.38 which will allow the fax to work.

The Linksys 3104 converts the analogue signal that the fax machine communicates into a digtal signal transmitted via SIP.

The SPA 3102 supports faxing…
