E1 and wild card

Hello

I have been using Asterisk with SIP, and now I am planing to get an E1 and a wild card. Is it easy to configure Asterisk to make outgoing calls to the E1? How can I find information on how I can do it.

Hi there,

for that you have configure zaptel.conf and zapata.conf .
When you buy a wildcard, they usually tell you how to configure it right!
Otherwise look the configs up under voip-info.org/wiki/

Digium will setup the card to get it working with your E1 and can explain the settings to you if you purchase a Digium card.
