DPMA - Monitor softbutton usage

We’re using Digium D40 & D50 phones w/ Asterisk 11. DPMA is installed and working properly. Pressing the Record softkey while on a call on these phones doesn’t provide any feedback, and /var/spool/asterisk/monitor doesn’t show any recordings.

record_own_calls is set to YES in res_digium_phone.conf

I can use the mixmonitor app in the dialplan w/o issue.
