I have a question about Asterisk, told me that it is now stable. We’re thinking of changing our phone system Alcatel-Lucent for Asterisk, worth it?

Stable is in the eye of the beholder. If you’d like to see what’s going on with Asterisk development, check into the issue tracker (issues.asterisk.org) as well as the release changelogs in the downloaded tarballs.
