Dial-by-name directory feature not working in Asterisk

Hi

I am using Asterisk 1.4, have configured the asterisk to run the AGI script directory written by Greg MacLellan ,which implements the Dial-by-name directory application. But when I call the extension , the dial-by-name directory application is playing a error audio which says -Directory no match’. I have setup voicemail for 2 users and the voicemail.conf is being parsed to read and then write the user information such as name and extension number into directory_app.conf in the /etc/asterisk directory.

Is there and updated version of the directory agi script available on the net? Is there any other configuration needed to be done for this to work as expected.

update your asterisk version use the native directory and dont use third party scripts or ask this to the dev of the script.
