Detewe integration

Hi

I’m quite new to Voip and asterisk. I have a Detewe Opencom 120, but looking to move towards asterisk and viop. Can I integrate the opencom 120 with asterisk and therefore continue to use my old phone system. If this is not the case, is there an option to at least use the desk phones, which are detewe openphone 63s.

Asterisk probably can’t talk directly to your phones. However what you can do is use your PBX as an adapter- tell it to do little/no routing or voicemail, and connect * to it via a T1/E1 interface…
