Actually two questions:
The list object detects when it’s changed, but I only want an action to execute when they press enter (or the checkmark key I guess).
Also, is it possible to assign an app to one of the hotkeys? Save the users from having to press 8 keys to navigate to the app.

1- It would be reasonably simple to create your own class to achieve the menu control you desire, if the provided classes aren’t working for you.
2- The D70 phone has an Apps button, for easy access. However, there is a shortcut on the D40 and D50. I don’t have my phone in front of me at the moment, but I think check mark followed by 2 from the home screen will get a user into the Apps.
