I have recently setup overhead paging using a grandstream budetone 101 connected to my overhead amplifier. Everything works but i’m getting complaints about the delay.
I was wondering if anybody has any ideas to help reduce it.
I have made sure to set the codecs the same, both ulaw. that way asterisk does not need to do transcoding. also canreinvite is set to ‘no’. this keeps asterisk in the call path introducing a small delay, but i need it that way for call monitoring/recording on the other phones.
does anybody have any other ideas?
