Dahdi Error

Ok I got everything up and running and i just need to configure my system.conf and any other configuration files for my b410p. My question is, do i run dahdi_cfg only after i configure and hook my isdn lines up to my card? The reason i ask is because i get the following output

shido@logical:~$ dahdi_cfg
Notice: Configuration file is /etc/dahdi/system.conf
line 0: Unable to open master device ‘/dev/dahdi/ctl’

1 error(s) detected

Do i first need to put in my lines and does the configuration files need to be set correctly before i run this command? Or what is the problem? Why am i getting this error?

run dahdi_genconf first

This command is used to creat a configuration of drivers that suit currently installed hardware. I ran that command before and it put one wrong driver in place. So i created that config file manually. Besides even when the file was created by genconf i still used to get the error
