Dahdi system.conf configurations

hello all

im in the process of installing Asterisk 1.6.1.9 with Dahdi complete 2.2.0.2

i have a TE220 (4th Gen) card connecting into out ISDSN30 (we are in the UK)

the configuration from our old 1.4 with zap machine was

span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
bchan=1-15
dchan=16
bchan=,17-31

span=2,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
bchan=32-46
dchan=47
bchan=48-62
loadzone=uk
defaultzone=uk
i have entered this into the system.conf on our new machine and ran the command
dahdi_scan
and it returns

DAHDI_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Invalid argument (22)
anyone any idea why i get the DAHDI_SPANCONFIG failure??

anyone any input? thanks

ahh something else i just noticed, if i try to use the command

i receive an error of “No pri command”

although i have installed libpri-1.4.10.2

does libpri need configuration?

You need to ./configure and make Asterisk after installing dahdi and its libraries, otherwise it will not include code to use those libraries.

hi thanks for the reply

i just ran these commands

cd /usr/src/asterisk/asterisk sudo make clean sudo ./configure sudo make install sudo make samples sudo make config

but im still getting the issues :frowning:
