just finished to write a little article om my site about how to add the “click to call” function on a Sugar CRM installation, using Asterisk to place the calls; I found a simple and quick way to do this, thanks to AstJAX dialer: yaptele.com/asterisk-firefox … jax-script .

I did just this for Vtiger and general firefox use some while back, you can have a look at this version as it means that you need only one script for multiple users as the extension is stored locally in firefox not the script.

also are the files for screen popping via Flashops panel. this is set up for searching vtiger but could easily be changed.

the part about storing the user extension in the Firefox preferences is very interesting to me, I think I’ll try to implement it in the near future.

Basicly the first time they loginto firefox a popup asks them for their extension. works nicely.
