It seems trivial, but on an Asterisk 1.8.3.2 box, the usual message that’s displayed on starting the CLI with
asterisk -r doesn’t display:
"Asterisk version, Copyright © 1999 - 2010 Digium, Inc. and others.
Created by Mark Spencer markster@digium.com

License version 2 and other licenses; you are welcome to redistribute it under
certain conditions. Type ‘core show license’ for details.
Connected to Asterisk version currently running on server (pid = 11187)"
That doesn’t display. All I get is “Verbosity is at least 3”. Nothing more.
What could be causing this?
