Will the Cisco VoIP Conference Station Model# CP-7936 with Asterisk? It looks similar to the Polycom SoundStation IP 4000.

From what I understand it is the Polycom unit OEM’d to Cisco. However, Cisco currently only supports SCCP and has not released SIP firmware yet (although they have committed to full SIP support across all hadnsets and their backend CallManager systems). The polycom unit is SIP based, however I have not found any web links talking about Polycom configuration or usage with Asterisk (even though we know it should work just fine).
