Cheapest way to use Asterisk and a home POTS line

Hello All.

I want to use Asterisk to run one Cisco IP phone in my house. I want this phone to be able to use my current POTS line for incoming and outgoing. What I understand so far is that I will need a device to convert the FXO line into ethernet so I can connect it to asterisk.
Can anyone tell me the cheapest possible solution for this? whether it be a PCI card or an external module. I’d rather an external module because I plan to have asterisk on a VM but money is the biggest issue for me.

Any advice would be great. Thanks all!

Hey,

Have a look at the Linksys SPA3102.
