Changing ring tone

I’m trying to change the tone file that its on my phone, i believe it should be WAV, i just need to know were’s the folder that i have to upload the wav file and were i have to change it in other files to take effect.

i need to change the default rings tones from the asterisk code itself “/etc/asterisk” folder,not from the phone. which means i need to upload my own wav file. but anyways im using Polycom Soundpoint IP320. maybe that helps ?
