Can't use domain with my Asterisk running behind PBX

I’m managing my Asterisk using the FeePBX dashboard and I have a static IP. Its running fine with the IP address and phones are connecting but please how do I change the external IP to a domain because in our second office their SIP asterisk is running on a domain.

  1. Select a domain registrar such as https://www.gandi.net (there are lots to
    choose from)

  2. Choose a domain and register it

  3. Create an A record with the hostname you want to use for your Asterisk
    server pointing to your static IP address

  4. Ask https://community.freepbx.org how to put this into FreePBX, if that is
    even required.

(In case it wasn’t clear, this is not an Asterisk question.)

I know I always wanted to be somebody, but I guess I should have been more
specific.
