Friends having some problems with a very simple registration of a YeaLink handset. Show’s up as “Register Failed”. All settings appear to be correct. Any suggestions before I pull out the packet sniffer?
can you tell us how its configured? i registered my and a W80DM + 4 W80B’s without any issue.
The setup is pretty simply, pbx and phones are on the same LANS, I can ping the phones from asterisk service and receive a response. Settings area all defaults with, port 5060.
under account/register make sure the line is active. and put in the registername and username (for me they are the same) and the password. make sure outbound proxy server is disabled.
