Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can Asterisk be run with no FXS/FXO cards?
In other words, if I used all IP phones and used a VoIP provider for service, would there be any need to install these cards?
I’m trying to figure out what costs would be involved and whether Asterisk is a good option for my office phone system. (We currently have 3 POTS lines, an older PBX with 13 extensions. Looking to support upwards of 25 phones immediately with the potential to expand to double that.)
